ADVENTURE OFTEN
Challenge: The West Loop in Chicago is an attractive destination for locals and visitors alike. Home to some of the cooler headquarters in the City, the West Loop is wildly popular and has a vibrant culinary and nightlife scene. So how does a development on the outer edge tap into the cache of this established neighborhood to drive a successful leasing program?
Solution: The property bordered the Illinois Medical District as well so we decided to turn a negative into a positive by inviting potential renters to expand their horizons and lean into the adventure. This development had a lot of the bells and whistles of other buildings in the West Loop, along with some unleveled amenities that their competition couldn’t boast. Hat tip to the developer (our client) who continues to push the envelope on innovation.
Brand Platform: Adventure often was conceived for those who were looking for something bold and willing to try new things. The name Avra in Greek means “breeze” and so the brand of enjoying the journey and the destination was born. Created in 2020 when the pandemic was ramping up we wanted to develop something that celebrated freedom and felt aspirational amidst a media landscape that was otherwise very dark.
